According to The Futon Critic, the 4th season of Big Time Rush is set to premiere at the end of this month! Big Time Invasion will kick off the season on Saturday, March 23rd after the Kids’ Choice Awards. Nickelodeon has yet to announce the premiere, but BTR has been tweeting hints about when new episodes will be shown. When asked if he knew when the new season will air, Kendall replied saying: “Soon!”

Big Time Rush is ready for their third album! Teen recently caught up with the guys on set of their hit Nickelodeon show, and we chatted with them not only about their new music, but their upcoming tour, working with Cher Lloyd, and much more!

When we asked about their forthcoming album, Kendall Schmidt told us, “We’re very excited for this next album because, I mean, honestly we wrote about 99 percent of it,” while James Maslow added, “The new album is really just focusing on writing really great pop music.” He continued, “I know the four of us spent a couple months really honing in and just writing some [songs] with each other, individually, and we picked up a pile of 50, 60 songs and narrowed it down to about 12, 15 that we’re really excited about.”

Jordan Plosky is a professional drummer who tours with Big Time Rush and plays drums in their concerts. If you have ever been to a Big Time Rush concert, you may have seen him playing drums. He was nice enough to answer a few questions for us about life with BTR, and his advice for future pro musicians.

What is the craziest BTR fan encounter you’ve seen?
Whenever we would travel overseas, there would be hundreds of fans waiting for us at the airports and hotels. We never knew exactly how they knew what flight we were on, or what hotel we were staying at, but they were always there! When we were in Argentina, we were crossing a street, and a fan ran after us. I saw her and yelled, “WATCH OUT!” because a huge bus was whipping around the corner. Although she didn’t understand English, she understood what I was trying to say, and ran back to the curb. She could have gotten hit by the bus, which was scary.

What is your favorite BTR song to play in concert?
“Windows Down!” Woo Hoo!

I couldn’t believe that I just read their tweet saying “I” was chosen as the winner for the call! At this moment, I was sitting in the living room with the rest of my family, when I burst out and screamed that I had just won.
