What is it like working with the guys of Big Time Rush?
Oh wow. Working with the guys is a blast. They are always so fun and creative and spontaneous. We are like one big zany family. And besides being fun they are also incredibly sweet and nice.

When working with four boys, is there ever a dull moment on set?
Ha! No. Never a dull moment. Their energy is totally infectious. Sometimes it is really hard not to laugh in the middle of a take.

What was it like to meet and dance with Fabio?
Fabio was amazing. He was such a good sport to do all of the crazy things they asked him to do. He is very charming and friendly. It was fun to work [with] him and dance with him.

How did you hear about auditions for Big Time Rush?
It was really just the normal way. My manager called with an audition. I worked on it with my husband and then went it to read for the casting director, Geralyn Flood. She was great and gave me some thoughts about the character. It was really easy because it felt really natural to be Mrs. Knight.

What made you want to be part of Big Time Rush?
I love the idea of being the “den mother” for the whole group. I am very mothering with all of my friends anyway so it’s not much of a stretch.

What is the best part about being on Big Time Rush?
I love comedy and I get to do some really wacky stuff. I also love doing stunts and BTR let’s me do a lot of fun things. And hello!! Getting to hang out with Ciara and the guys is awesome.

Are you anything like your character, Mrs. Knight?
Yes and no. I am very nurturing and protective of my friends and family. I have two kids in real life. But I’m not as trusting as Mrs. Knight. Maybe that’s because my kids are little. That’s something I probably need to learn from my character as my kids grow up.

Is there a Mr. Knight?
Mr. Knight is still a bit of a mystery.

In real life, if you were a single mom, taking care of four teenage boys and one pre-teen daughter in Los Angeles how would you handle it?
Ummm. A big sense of humor, massive amounts of vaccine and a mini van.

Desperate Housewives, Criminal Minds, Monk, CSI NY, Passions, Dukes of Hazard 2…

Do you have any advice for upcoming actors?
You should pursue acting if you are passionate acting and the craft.
