24/Seven’ debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart this week. Big Time Rush followed the heels of Black Sabbath, Daft Punk and Justin Timberlake. According to Billboard.com, over 35,000 copies were sold this week. If you have not picked up your copy, make sure you do so!

Entertainment Tonight teased us with a preview of the music video yesterday, but now here is the official full-length video for BTR’s 24/Seven! The music video will air directly after tomorrow’s Big Time Rides episode on Nickelodeon.

Victoria Justice spoke with ArtistDirect.com about touring with our faves — Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan. She told them that, “the production is definitely bigger. OK! Magazine has a treat for us Rushers today. They posted 3 behind the scene photos (click the picture above to see) from Big Time Rush’s ’24/Seven’ music video. The video is set to premiere online tomorrow night, and it will air directly after this week’s BTR episode, Big Time Rides.

With the extra load of their Nickelodeon series and an upcoming summer tour, 2013 has been a pretty strenuous journey for Big Time Rush. But ever since they dropped 24/Seven on Tuesday, Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena and Logan Henderson are enjoying the fruits of their labor.

“It feels like we had just climbed a mountain; now we’re looking out over the view,” Schmidt told MTV News of completing their third studio album.

“We worked hard on this album and we wrote most all of it. I think it’s our best album yet so we’re excited to actually have it out now,” Henderson added, with Schmidt backing him up: “It is the best album yet, which is ‘BAY’ for abbreviation.”

But getting 24/Seven to BAY status didn’t happen overnight. According to Maslow, the band started on the project nearly five years ago. With so much time having passed between now and then, the group really had the opportunity to find their inspirations.

“We have tons of influences,” James said. “A huge part of that are the fans, you know, on Twitter and Instagram and all that stuff every day and we know what they want to hear, we know the songs that have worked, the songs that haven’t, and so we have a pretty good barometer of what works and what they like.”

The guys also took notes from some of their favorite acts as well, including Alt-J, Ed Sheeran and 2 Chainz, just to name a few.

“We also listen to a lot of music on our own,” Kendall explained. “I mean just music that we love and we take influences from that stuff, I mean you go see concerts and you see how people play a show live and you take that and you use it.”

Spotted! The boys of Big Time Rush took over the Big Apple (or should we say, the Big Time Apple) this week to kick off their brand new album, 24/Seven! We caught them hanging out in Times Square, dressed to the nines of course, yapping all about their new music and what’s to come on their mega awesome summer tour with Victoria Justice. Phew, talk about heating things up for the summer. We’ve better grab some sunscreen!

We’re pretty pumped to be listening to all new music from this group of superstar singers. And the guys are just as excited as we are about the new tunes! “24/Seven is much more organic,” James told Just Jared Jr.. “It came from all of us personally. Besides the fact that we wrote most of the music, we didn’t really have any restrictions on this album… I think we’ve done some of our best writing…” We agree!

And the boys were pretty excited to be flying cross-country to give album deets to their fans in the city so nice they named it twice. When they arrived, Carlos chirped, “NYC!!!!” And as soon as the album dropped, he shouted out to fans, “Favorite tracks so far!?” Don’t worry Carlos, we’ve already got our faves all picked out.

But even though the boys had a blast hanging on the East Coast, soon it was time to head back to Hollywood. “Can’t stay away for too long #NYC,” Logan tweeted.

Well, it was great having these dudes rock the Empire City, even if it flew by in a flash! But no worries, we’ll see them again soon… when they’re rocking the US of A all summer long on tour. Wahoo!
