Dear @TheCarlosPena I’m so sorry for not saying “Hi” to you at the Teen Choice Awards. I was told right before I was seated that talking to any talent would get us kicked out… that would have been super embarrassing.

But, thank you so much for the call, shout out and video. Next time, you will definitely know when I’m in your presence… in a non-tweenie, non-creepy, non-stalker way! See you on the 28th!

I feel horrible. Sorry Carlos, Kendall, James, and Logan! Oh, and I hope you feel better Carlos!

Carlos talked to Tiger Beat and BOP about being grounded when he was younger!

“My parents used to ground me like a jail. They would take away my TV–this was back when I was in middle school. TV and Gameboy would would be gone, they would take away all outside playing privileges. I’d have to go to school, come home, sit in my room and they would come and get me when dinner was ready.”

Although this isn’t much, I’m trying to dig up as much information as I can for you guys!

Director: Elgin James (known for Goodnight Moon)
Plot: A drama centered on two girls in trouble after they run away to Los Angeles.
Starring: Carlos Pena as Louis. Some of his co-stars include Kate Bosworth (7th Heaven, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton), Leslie Mann (17 Again, Funny People), and Neal McDonough (The Hitcher, Desperate Housewives).

The movie has no set date, but it’s set to release sometime next year.

Twenty-year-old, Sagemont graduate, Carlos Pena carved his own unique road to Hollywood. At a young age, Carlos was very fortunate to land a role on ER and Judging Amy. After he and his mom became commuters between South Florida and Hollywood, CA, Carlos decided to return home and finish his high school education at The Sagemont School. There he starred in several school drama productions including stand out leads in the musicals Little Shop of Horrors and Once Upon A Mattress. After completing one year at Boston Conservatory, Carlos was cast as a lead in this season’s new Nickelodeon series, Big Time Rush, being filmed in Los Angeles. His role highlights both his comedic timing and singing abilities.

Today, Carlos Pena attended the BIG (Believe in Girls) Expo in Ontario, CA.

Backstage friends from other popular teen shows hung out and watched the action, including Carlos Pena of “Big Time Rush,” Nick Purcell of “The Troop” and Brittany Curran of “The Suite Life on Deck,” who also plays the daughter of Ray Romano on TNT’s “Men of a Certain Age.”

“They shoot right next to us,” Pena said of the cast of “True Jackson VP.” The group has become good friends.

When asked if he’d like to perform for the Girl Scouts Pena said, “Hopefully they’ll bring us back to perform next time too. We’d love that.”
